LIONEL ONE #ZW-275 WATT TRANSFORMER MODEL (R)-RECONDITIONED-UPDATED-CLEANED-SERVICED-TESTED-LIKE NEW PLUS PLUS OPERATING CONDITION
LIONEL ONE #ZW-275 Model (R) Watt Postwar Transformer, will run 4 Trains. It has been completely disassembled and cleaned in and out, and is in Like New Plus Plus Operating Condition. I have Replaced the Four Carbon rollers and rivets, replaced the Two Whistle Rectifier Discs with new 16 Amp Capacity Stud Diodes, which are more reliable than rectifier discs. A new Circuit Breaker. A new transformer cord with (L) on plug.  The top nameplate is very nice, as shown in pictures, and the Base plate has Original Paint. A 6 page copy of the original instruction sheet is included. This ZW Transformer has no chips, cracks, breaks, or rust, lite scratches on case and base, as shown in pictures, and transformer works fine.
The voltages are Great and this Transformer is Ready for many more years of service. I tested the whistle and directional controls, on a 6026W Tender, which read an output of 25.55 volts. The circuit breaker was tested and the red light comes on when shorted and goes off when short is removed. I cleaned the excess carbon off of the windings. I wire brushed the binding post and Binding post nuts, cleaned contact arms and contact tabs. I lube the transformer's moving electrical parts with Dielectric contact lubricant.
The voltage test. A-U 20.46 Volts, B-U 20.46 Volts, C-U 20.46 Volts, and D-U 20.46 Volts.
This is a Postwar Transformer made to be used on Postwar and Prewar Trains.
