  • Condition: The lens have very few blemishes on the paint and around 5 little marks on the glass. Inside are some dust specs, and tiny haze on one side. I bought this lens 10 years ago in this condition and it didn't become bigger. I always had desiccant in the box. None of the blemishes was seen in the pictures I took. As reference I added two shots from y shooting today. The lens lens carrying case has also scuff marks and blemishes. 4 rivets at the corners came loose on bottom, nothing serious, overall great looking for the age. The box will be packed accordingly.

    Description

    This is a legend FD 600mm 4.5 SSC lens in beautiful condition with the original hard case, leather lens cap hood, and a special made converter based on an FD 1.4x to use this lens on an EOS EF camera.
    The original FD to EF adapter was too expensive and very rare (9). This solution worked perfectly on my Canon 5DMKIII. I switched to Sony A7 and used the lens directly with an FD to Sony E adapter. The lens have very few blemishes on the paint and around 5 little marks on the glass you need to wiggle light reflection on the glass to really see them. Inside are some dust specs, and tiny haze on one side. I bought this lens 10 years ago in this condition and it didn't grow. I always had desiccant in the box.
    None of the blemishes was seen in the pictures I took. As reference I added two shots from y shooting today. You may know the lens, it's a tank and it has the beautiful sharp but film look. Don't compare this lens with the new ef 600 f4  000 lens. FD lenses are native manual focus, for lovers.
    For a lens with this age, it has little blemishes and it is normal, but great copy. It is a sharp lens and no problem to use it at film or digital cameras.
    Several people converted the lens to PL mount and sell this lenses above 00-4000.
    I'll take good care of my equipment. You will not be disappointed. Since the beginning I received always 100% and tried always to describe as best as possible.

    Attached are pictures I shot today. Here you can see the lens is sharp and you don't see any blemishes within the pictures.
    In high contrast situations you may notice green and purple fringing which is normal for the technology of that time. Photoshop has no problem to correct that.
    Also, I don't have keys for the box, the previous owner lost them.
